How the desk labels every story
Boost runs three labels across the news desk. Publisher confirmed means sourced from an official press release, the league bulletin, or the developer’s patch notes. Verified means independently corroborated against a second publisher source before publication. Reported means sourced from a community report, a co-stream or a reputable journalist; treat as “to be verified” until a publisher confirms.
What the desk covers
Boost covers tournament announcements, roster moves, patch notes, broadcast-partner changes, regional league results and structural changes to competitive circuits. We do not invent headline numbers, prize pools, dates or scores; where the source is silent, we say so.
What the desk does not cover
Boost does not publish betting picks, tips, predictions, odds or wagering advice. The desk is editorial coverage. The Play Now button leads to an external sports companion route — read its terms before using it.
Corrections protocol
When a story is corrected, Boost updates the article, appends a dated correction note at the bottom of the piece, and re-renders the sitemap. Major corrections also surface in the ticker rail at the top of the homepage.
